Announcements and news on your school's front page

You can now publish announcements and news and feature the latest ones on your school’s front page, without building anything by hand. Write the announcement as a regular blog article, add it to the News blog, and a tidy strip of cards with your latest news, pictures and short summaries appears on the front page.

You can write the summary yourself or let the system create it from the start of the article. You can also schedule an announcement for later and give it an expiry date, after which it drops off the front page by itself. The feature is optional and changes nothing until you turn it on.

To get started:

1. Create a blog article under Administration → Texts → Blog articles and choose News as its blog.
2. Turn on the front-page card strip under Administration → Settings → Appearance.
