Extras for resource bookings

You can now sell optional extras directly with bookings of resources such as halls, spaces and rooms — for example a “bring a friend” fee, a large-group surcharge or extra training equipment.

Resource extras are now available in doggso.

You set up extras per resource: give each one a name and a price. The price is charged per resource unit, so it scales automatically with the length of the booking — a longer booking means a larger extras charge, just like the resource’s base price.

When customers make a booking, they see the available extras as checkboxes and can add them to the booking with one click. The price estimate updates right away, and the chosen price is saved with the booking, so later price changes don’t affect bookings already made.

To get started:

1. Open the resource’s edit page and go to the Extras section.
2. Add the extras you want, each with a name and a unit price.
3. Save — the extras appear right away on that resource’s booking form.
