HOW ARE PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS PROCESSED, DOES THE SERVICE COME WITH AN ONLINE PAYMENT METHOD OR SHOULD IT BE MANAGED SEPARATELY?

Doggso handles transactions using toll services. Currently we are using Checkout (https://checkout.fi).

Your company needs to register as a user of the toll service and add the details of the service to doggso.com. After this you can control transactions on your own, and Checkout Finland Oy (which is part of the OP-group) provides the customer with options for payment methods. Checkout.fi is the most affordable toll service in Finland, as far as I am aware.

DOES THE SERVICE INCLUDE A BOOKING SYSTEM, OR DOES ONE HAVE TO BE BUILT SEPARATELY?

doggso.com contains a functionality with the help of which booking space or services is easy. Booking a space is easy, because timeslots when the space is being used for courses is already blocked out in the booking calendar. The admin can control accessibility options. The same credentials are used for the booking function as are for the rest of the service. The booking function is a separate addition, whose pricing is based on how many spaces/services are available to book through it:

* 1-4: 49€ + VAT/mo
* 4-8: 79€ + VAT/mo
* over 8: negotiated separately.

We will assist with implementation of the booking function, and the first month is free.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EASY AND PREMIUM SERVICES, WHAT PERKS DOES THE PREMIUM PLATFORM OFFER?

Packages are designed based on the size of the school. For example, a school with one trainer and occasional courses probably shouldn't pay monthly fees, but pricing based on the number of enrollments is more appropriate in that case.

Packages can also be designed to be flexible based on real use. Plus and Business packages include:

  • Automation of gathering feedback: the system automatically sends emails requesting feedback and compiles all feedback for the admin
  • Cash Flow monitoring: the system has versatile reporting tools, which can be used to gather data about, for example, expected weekly billings and payments. Data can also be collected per course or participant, in which case sending payment reminders is easy.
  • Discounts: the system can give discount codes to customers (whether in percentages or monetary values)
  • Online courses: the system has a module, in which simple online courses can be defined. An online course can be made up of text, materials saved in the system, and video links.

CAN I EDIT THE BASE OF THE SITE?

The base of the site (like layout, navigation and menus) is pretty concrete as of now. Some adjustments can be made, but big changes need implementation, which could be paid projects. A landing page and a few custom pages are usually designed for new customers.

ABOUT THE WEB ADDRESS, DO I NEED TO ORDER IT MYSELF?

If you already have your own domain, it can be made to redirect to the doggso.com server.

HOW ABOUT THE HOMEPAGE OF THE SITE, IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET YOUR OWN LANDING PAGE?

It is possible, but it is not free. The price is 195 € + VAT, if you bring your own high resolution images and the base remains otherwise the same. This service also includes creating a color palette for the theme of the site. (Until now I’ve been working for around 900 € ;)

DOES THE SITE HAVE META DESCRIPTIONS? HAS SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION BEEN TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT?

CAN I USE FACEBOOK PIXEL AND/OR GOOGLE TAG MANAGER OR ANALYTICS?

The site already has built-in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager codes. You can choose/change “Google Analytics” or Google Tag Manager ID from the “Edit school info” page. When using Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel can be configured through GTM itself.

HOW AND BY WHO ARE UPDATES, SUPPORT, TECHNICAL PROBLEMS OR PROBLEMS RELATED TO USER COMPETENCE HANDLED, AND HOW MUCH DOES THAT COST?

Updates, support, and solving technical problems are handled by aimget Oy. Problems relating to user competence are solved primarily by your company. If you are unable to respond/help you can open a support ticket to aimget Oy. The standard agreement states that:

  • the first response will arrive within twelve hours from the time of reporting the problem to aimget Oy
  • support for aimget Oy can also be reached through email, and via a phone call during official work hours (mon-fri, 12:00-20:00)

WHAT IS THE CONTRACT LENGTH, WHAT IS THE TERMINATION PERIOD, WHAT IF THEY ARE INSUFFICIENT?

Contracts can of course be edited on a case-by-case basis. We recommend an annual contract, which both parties can dissolve immediately after the first free trial month. If the agreement is not dissolved immediately after the trial period, the notice period lasts until the end of the current quarter, as long as the termination is done 6 weeks before the end of the quarter.

WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE WARRANTY DOES THE SITE HAVE? IF THE COMPANY GOES UNDER OR THE FOUNDER MOVES TO A DIFFERENT COMPANY, HOW DO I DO BUSINESS/PROCEED?

In the annually renewable contract it is stated that aimget Oy must provide the promised service to the end of the agreement. Aimget Oy operates with a fairly light/gentle cost structure, so bankruptcy is very unlikely :) The customer company owns the data saved into the system (e.g. course data and descriptions, user data, etc.) and at the end of the collaboration, the transferring of data to another system can be negotiated.

IN THE EVENT AN AGREEMENT IS DISSOLVED AT SOME POINT, COULD THE SECTION "THE CUSTOMER HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN MATERIALS" BE made more precise?

At the dissolving of the contract, the customer immediately receives all data saved in the database as an Excel spreadsheet. The agreement does not include creating new webpages. A more precise description of what happens if the contract is ended can be added to the contract. For example, a longer (paid for by customer) transition period and possible technical support for website migration could be defined in the contract.
